Mr.Vinod had told us to work from home and write down two essays for something we loved and something we hated. He told us to focus on alignment, size and readability.
Week 13
19/06/2018
This week, we were told to combine the text me made and the fonts we made, to create an art piece. Mr.Vinod told us, he didn't want us to focus the readability or the legibility but mainly on how we would express the design.

FEEDBACK
Week 11: Since the task was done at home, no feedback was given.
Week 12: Since the task was given during break. No feedback was given.
Week 13: After seeing my designs, Mr.Vinod told me to change with the font size and to play around with the grayscale's. He told to add something more to it other than black and white to create some kind of depth into my design.
REFLECTION
Experience: This project turned out to be the one that was the most enjoyable because we were allowed a little more freedom with this one. However, created the design layouts proved to be stressful because everything had to be placed and aligned with a lot of precision but the art work still needed to look carefree.
Observation: I've realised that my work is either too structured or unstructured and there is no in-between. With this project, I think I learnt to balance my work with this project. I've also realised that I prefer my work to have a lot of contrast that can sometimes be overbearing. I,ve also learnt that I work better when I don't preplan everything, I become restricted by the ideas I put on paper and feel like I have to stick with those ides and cannot experiment when it comes to doing them digitally.
Findings: Like the previous projects, this one required even more thinking and creativity because it was a combination of everything we had learnt and everything had to work together in harmony. I found that the simplest design can look the best and that not everything has to overly detailed.
FURTHER READING
Exploring Typography:-
The book talks about layout designs and explains how the layout design influences whether or not you get your message through to the public. Effective layouts help the audience notice your design, find the information they are seeking, and understand the information you are presenting.
The book explains how every layout has two competing components that must be juggles to create an appropriate design: these are form and content. Form is defined as the way a layout looks depending on balance, unity, contrast, colour, value and texture. Content refers to the message or information that is being by the design. The content may be intended to teach, preach, sell, convince inform or set a mood.
The bps also talks about the readers perception and interest level. AS the readers' interest in the design increases, the need for effective form decreases. Designers who create classified ads create layouts that conserve space, knowing people will read the ad anyway. On the other hand, a designer must carefully consider the form and layout when designing an advertisement for a product or service because viewers may pass over it if they do not find it visually appealing.
