Advanced Interactive Design: Proposal

INSTRUCTIONS

Week 1
We were told that there was only one project which would be split into the proposal and the final outcome. We were shown an example of what our final project had to be like. We were told to find a folklore that we would use for this project.

Week 2
This week, I showed Mr.Lun my folklore which was a Pakistani folklore of the Mughal descent but we told me to find a different one since neither he nor I could think of a way to animate the story in an interactive way.

Week 3
This week, I showed Mr.Shamsul and Mr.Lun another folklore which was a japanese one but Mr.Shamsul realised I wasn't as drawn to the folklore and after brain storming, he allowed me to write my own story for a folk creature.

Week 4
This week, I worked on writing a story for the folk creature. The creature I wished to write my folklore story about was the Djiin, who are creatures from Islamic folklore.

1.1 Story Written.

Week 5
This week, after getting the approval, I started working on the flowchart/storyboard. My first course of action was to sketch the storyboard.

2.1 Rough sketch of the storyboard

2.2 Storyboard and rough flow chart.

Week 6
This week, I worked on compiling my slides.

FEEDBACK

Week 2: I was asked to find a new folklore since the one I had found was not suitable for animating in an interactive story like style and since neither myself or my lecturer could come up with how too animate it.

Week 3: I was once again asked to find a new folklore and was allowed to write my own using a creature folklore since none of the folklore stories I found were intriguing enough for me.
